Brazil Visa for United Kingdom Passport Holders

The applicant must provide the original passport that:

• The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond travelling with at least 2 blank visa pages facing each other.
• The passport must not be damaged by any means.

The applicant must provide 1 passport sized coloured photograph that:

• Is taken against a white background (glue to the application form)
• Have been taken within the last 6 months
• Please do not use stapler when attaching the photograph to the application.

The applicant must fill the Application Form online and choose UK flag then and click on ‘VISA REQUEST’ and follow instructions. 

• Original Standard Certificate of Prosecution/Conviction History or an ACRO Police Certificate is required from applicants of 18 years of age or above. 
• Please note: If the applicant has lived in multiple countries within the last 12 months, a police check from each country must be provided. They must also be duly legalised by the respective Brazilian consular authority with jurisdiction over these countries, and translated by a sworn translator, if necessary.
• Both certificates, must be issued within the last 3 months.

Please note at busy periods visa processing time can vary between 8 to maximum of 15 working days from the date of submission.

Note: Technical Assistance visa requires approval from the Brazilian Ministry of Labour, who, then, will send the authorisation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Only then the Minsitry of Foreign Affairs will send to the Brazilian consulate in London  to start processing the visa application.

The applicant must provide copy of their authorisation letter once it has been granted from the Ministry of Labour Employment.

• Original Standard Certificate of Prosecution/Conviction History or an ACRO Police Certificate is required from applicants of 18 years of age or above. 
• Please note: If the applicant has lived in multiple countries within the last 12 months, a police check from each country must be provided. They must also be duly legalised by the respective Brazilian consular authority with jurisdiction over these countries, and translated by a sworn translator, if necessary.
• Both certificates, must be issued within the last 3 months.

The applicant must provide a copy of their (Long Birth Certificate).
